Why another meeting?
The ABO and NCLE certificants who responded to our Needs Assessment Survey overwhelmingly told us they want a national venue where they can hang their hat. Here’s what they had to say:
- 95% said they would consider attending an ABO and NCLE National Convention
Why exhibit?
The ABO and NCLE certificants are the professionals who sell your product directly to the patient/customer.
- Exhibit hall was the second most commonly selected reason for attending (46% said the exhibit hall is one of the top 3 reasons they would attend)
- 66% of the respondents who work for optometry, 59% who work for ophthalmology and 65% who identified themselves as independent retailers said they are a decision maker in regards to which frame vendor is used
- 85% of all respondents said they work with the patient/customer to determine the final frame selection
- 63% of the respondents who work for optometry, 54% who work for ophthalmology and 62% who identified themselves as independent retailers said they a are decision maker in regards to which spectacle vendor is used
- 86% of all respondents said they work with the patient/customer to determine the final spectacle lens selection
- 71% of the NCLE Advanced certified respondents and 35% of the NCLE respondents said they are a decision maker in regards to which contact lens vendor is used
- 78% of the NCLE Advanced certified respondents and 34% of the NCLE respondents said they determine the proper or final contact lens
- 78% of the NCLE Advanced certified respondents and 36% of the NCLE respondents said they are a decision maker in regards to which contact lens solution vendor is used
